Nisbah is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and widening access to opportunity, with a deep commitment to ensuring that all young people can experience the benefits of the outdoors. Her connection to YHA's mission is both personal and professional, rooted in a strong belief that access to nature, adventure and belonging should never be limited by background or circumstance.

A qualified solicitor and former wealth management adviser, Nisbah brings robust expertise in governance, compliance and financial oversight. She combines this with extensive grassroots experience in addressing barriers to participation and creating inclusive opportunities for young people.

Nisbah is the founder of the Muslim Youth Alliance, where she is developing a national network to amplify youth voice and expand access to outdoor and leadership opportunities. She is also Managing Director of Equalinks, leading strategic partnerships and programmes that support disadvantaged and underrepresented communities to access education, skills development and the outdoors.

Her passion for the outdoors is central to her work. She has led initiatives that have enabled many young people and families to experience residential trips and outdoor activities for the first time, helping to build confidence, wellbeing and a sense of belonging.

Alongside her executive roles, Nisbah has strong governance experience, serving as a trustee of One Voice Blackburn. She works collaboratively with communities, volunteers and partners to deliver impactful, youth-focused initiatives.
