Places to stay in Llandudno

Llandudno isn't known as the "Queen of Welsh resorts" for nothing - with its award-winning pier, gorgeous sandy beaches and stunning scenery, it's one of the most popular seaside destinations in the country. Located on an isthmus between the Great Orme and Little Orme headlands, it's nestled in the ideal spot for relaxing by the sea with the whole family.

The local area has plenty to offer, from the relaxing environs of the Happy Valley and Haulfre Gardens to the artificial ski slope, and of course the many attractions of the town's Victorian Pier. Llandudno is also known for its great shopping facilities, so there really is something to keep all the family entertained!

Five Free Things To Do In Llandudno

Bodafon Farm Park
This lovely working farm is a great day out for the kids, with llamas, red deer, pygmy goats and much more to meet, as well as a sanctuary where visitors can get up close to birds of prey.

Happy Valley
A public park that's home to all kinds of wildlife, this is the perfect spot for a picnic on a sunny day. Take a gentle stroll amid the statues and monuments and enjoy the views of the pier.

Llandudno Pier
Built in the Indian Gothic style, the pier is one of the resort's biggest attractions and a great place for a seaside stroll with an ice cream.

The North Shore and West Shore beaches are filled with traditional British holiday attractions like Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides.

St Tudno's Church
This lovely little clifftop church, which dates back to the 12th century, is still in regular use by the townspeople and offers breathtaking sea views.
