Discovery and connection
Starting and finishing at YHA Malham in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is a route that includes waterfalls, dramatic limestone cliffs, woodland and a serene upland tarn.
We start by visiting the enchanting Janet’s Foss waterfall, then head into the stunning gorge of Gordale, before looping round the side to the peaceful Malham Tarn. After this we descend via the limestone pavement above the majestic Malham Cove. A steep descent on a good path to the side of the Cove brings us back to the village and the hostel.
This walk is in partnership with YHA's Festival of Walking - view other social walks.
