Cycling in Kettlewell

Cyclists in village in Yorkshire

Overview

For Cyclists, we are on the Tour de France route and the area is really popular with road cyclists.

We have a large secure bike shed and concreted metal hoops in the floor so make sure that you bring your own locks with you to keep your pride and joy safe and secure.

If you’re looking for a cycling challenge, the Kettlewell Hell Loop is a demon.  It starts out pleasantly enough as you wheel through Buckden but the 500m ascent beyond Beckermonds is gruelling. The reward? A 1 in 3 downhill at the other side and the opportunity for a pit stop at the Wensleydale Cheese Factory.

Kettlewell Hell loop makes for an amazing day out.
