The Yorkshire Dales is renowned for its walking terrain, and there aren’t many better reasons as to why than a visit to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar.
Formed by a melting glacier at the end of the last Ice Age, the unique limestone landscape of Malham Cove offers a tough ascent but one which is rewarded by superb views of the valley and village below. The area has also featured in the world-renowned Harry Potter films, drawing more attention to one of the wonders of Yorkshire.
