Our 10-year strategy for connecting people and places.
We are proud to present our strategy for the next 10 years, developed through work undertaken throughout 2019, and approved by the Board in February 2020.
Our strategy is ambitious. It will see us reaching more people and growing our impact, with a focus on those who could benefit the most, in an era that needs us more than ever.
And it will establish YHA as a leading national charity and social enterprise.
If you have been following the development of the strategy, you may notice that we have now given it a more expressive title: Adventure. For the first time and a lifetime. Our 10-year strategy for connecting people and places.
The document includes our five-year targets and explains how these fit into a longer-term plan that will take us to our centenary in 2030.
Throughout the development of the strategy we received amazing feedback from our supporters. This informed the final version of the strategy. We’ll summarise and publish responses in a further document when time allows. For now, our priority is supporting the national effort and preparing for the future.
