Places to stay in The Yorkshire Dales

It may not be quite as large as its close neighbour the Lake District, but the Yorkshire Dales offers spectacular views and countless secrets to discover in its river valleys and hills. Stunning green pastures and wild moorland hide an extensive network of caves that make the Dales as popular with potholers as it is with hikers.

Nestled among the Dales are dozens of little towns and villages, each with their own character and traditions. Whether you're in the National Park for hiking, cycling or just exploring the rustic settlements, you'll find lots to do in the Yorkshire Dales.
