Places to stay in Swansea

Swansea is the second-largest city in Wales, with a wealth of attractions and beautiful surrounding countryside to explore. With a number of free museums, parks and walking tours, it's easy to spend your entire holiday in the city itself, but it's worth heading out into to woodlands and footpaths beyond, for a true glimpse of rural Wales' beauty.

The Afan Forest is ideal for a day outside of the city, while nearby resorts such as Mumbles and Gower promise a more peaceful seaside retreat. Access to Swansea from any of these areas is quick and easy, if you wish to spend an afternoon exploring the city.
