Five Free Things To Do In West Sussex

The South Downs
The South Downs has a vast network of trails and footpaths running over them, offering stunning views over Sussex from the peaks. Look out for the various types of sheep across the hillsides, as well as the huge number of scrub and wildlife throughout the year.

Bedelands Farm Nature Reserve
This fantastic nature reserve can be found just to the north-east of Burgess Hill, promising endless paths through flower meadows and beautifully-managed forestland.

Bognor Regis
Perhaps best known for its Butlin's Holiday Camp, Bognor Regis boasts one of the finest pebble beaches on the south coast, and plenty of facilities and developments along the seafront to make it an excellent choice for a family day out.

Tilgate Park
Situated in Crawley, one of West Sussex's larger towns, Tilgate Park is a large area of open space with lakes, woodlands, and even a small nature centre, ideal for a quiet afternoon in the sun.

Horsham Park
An excellent way to keep kids and adults entertained, Horsham Park offers a range of activities as well as large green areas and a conservatory café. Make your way through the maze, and let off steam at the picturesque landscaped children's play area.
