Places to stay in Stratford-upon-Avon

Set in the midst of picturesque rural Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon is perhaps best known for producing a certain Mr Shakespeare, and the whole town is full of fun activities dedicated to its most famous son. From the five period houses kept relatively unchanged since the 16th century to the spectacular Royal Shakespeare Theatre, fans of Britain's most revered playwright will be spoilt for choice.

For those who aren't as enamoured with The Bard of Avon, don't fret; Stratford also has a range of other attractions to ensure all families are kept entertained.
