Places to stay in Bath

People of all ages who love their history will simply adore Bath. Created as a natural spa location by the Romans under the name Aquae Sulis around 20 years after they arrived in Britain, Bath initially became the site of a temple, which would itself become worshipped by Iron-Age Britons indigenous to the region. Bath would go on to harness its natural resources - and 1,500-year-old architecture - as a spa town during the Georgian and Victorian eras.

Its remarkable number of family-friendly sights and sounds are undoubtedly enhanced by Bath's status as World Heritage Site since 1987, bringing an even richer arts centre offering countless theatres, museums, and other venues since then.
