The mill is surrounded by trails for walks and cycling, and is just a 10-minute walk from the picturesque village of Osmotherley, which offers pubs and shops popular with locals. School groups can get stuck into shelter-building, nature trails and bushcraft zones with a campfire – ideal for marshmallow toasting – all within the hostel’s grounds. Older educational groups can delve into the rolling fells and explore ancient history including visits to landmarks such as the Carthusian Monastery, Mount Grace Priory and Lady Chapel.
Most of our bedrooms are dormitory style rooms with bunk beds. We always try to allocate bedrooms close together and will never ask your group to share bedrooms with anyone not in your group.
Upgrades are available for sole use of an area, floor or the entire place.
