Accommodation at YHA Osmotherley
Dorms are not currently available.
All bedrooms at the hostel have been fully refurbished, making them all en-suite, and we now boast hairdryers in every room. There are 61 beds - spaced out in comfortable and stylish 2, 4 and 6 bedded rooms. The larger rooms have toilets which are separate to the shower. We are very proud of the finished look and the hostel now has a new eco-friendly biomass boiler heating system. The hostel also benefits from a cosy lounge and a spacious dining room.
There is a well-equipped self-catering kitchen with a good range of storage space and appliances. The room is well stocked with cooking utensils and pans along with crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
Please note that camping is sold per person and so, during the booking process, you will need to select the number of people that you wish to camp.
We have extended the garden in the grounds of this former flax mill to allow campers to spend a night under the North Yorkshire starry sky. An ideal stop for ‘Coast to Coast’ or ‘Cleveland Way’ walkers because both routes meet in Osmotherley. The camping area is an excellent choice for families with plenty to do in the local area.
Campers have 24 hour access to a kitchen and bathroom. All guests are welcome to use main hostel facilities including, the lounges, restaurant, bar, self-catering kitchen and drying room until 9.30pm (re-opens at 7am).
There is ample spaces in the main hostel car park. 5 extra spaces for campers at the side of the building. Both less than 100 metres away from camping area.
Campfires are strictly prohibited. Noise to be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm. There is a well stocked shop on site next door. Campers are not permitted to bring their own alcohol on site but there is a bar in the main Youth Hostel which can be used.
