YHA has a big presence in Yorkshire - no matter where you want to go you won't be far from a YHA hostel. There are centres in the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, as well as along the coast and in the popular tourist destinations of Leeds and York - something for every family! With not one but two National Parks within its boundaries, Yorkshire is always an extremely popular choice for a family break. The vast open spaces of the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors mean great routes for walking and cycling, as well as all the other outdoor activities you might want to try. But it's not just about the parks; Yorkshire boasts some of the biggest and most interesting cities in the country, such as the bustling metropolises of Leeds and Sheffield and the historic beauty of York. On top of that, there are the attractive coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby for those who want to enjoy some fun at the beach on their holidays in Yorkshire.
