

A popular walk to Llyn-y-Fan-Fach, home of the legendary Lady of the Lake. The story tells of a lady who came out the lake and married a local farmer, and if he struck her 3 times she went back in the lake and took the animals! Start the walk from the hostel doorstep. The direct walk takes approx 2-3hrs but the more the adventurous route takes a whole day. Visit the air crash sites of the war and see the Wellington MF509, Anson L9149, Lancaster W4929, Vamper VZ106 and Wellington BJ697 aircraft. So much to see! but don't let us tell you what to do - you're in a superb place for a walking holiday so get out and explore.
