Overview

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the nation’s favourite national trail that starts here in Helmsley. Events will be taking place throughout the year, including a walk from Helmsley to Rievaulx Abbey on the actual anniversary on 24 May that will be starting from YHA Helmsley which hosted part of the original opening ceremony back in 1969.
