‘The path less trodden…’ This walk takes you to some of the places less frequently visited within the Nant Ffrancon. The route will be rough, occasionally with little or no path to follow – bog/ rock/ deep vegetation (for short periods). The intention is to make the ascent of a relatively rarely visited summit (in comparison to Tryfan!).
You will need a decent level of mountain fitness and be good on your feet, as the walk involves the ascent of an 800+m peak, but there should be little or no ‘scrambling’.
