Discovery and connection
This social walk for experienced hikers starts at YHA Edale and follows a scenic route up to Kinder Scout plateau, the highest point in the Peak District at 636m. The walk offers a mix of open moorland, dramatic gritstone edges and sweeping views across the Peak District National Park. The area holds historical significance as the site of the 1932 Mass Trespass, a pivotal event in the right to roam movement.
This is a challenging hike ideal for those wanting to connect with likeminded walkers while experiencing one of the UK’s most iconic landscapes.
