Discovery and connection
Starting and finishing at YHA Keswick, it’s a lovely walk along the Cumbria Way to the summit of Latrigg, which provides stunning views of Keswick, Derwent Water and the wider Lake District. There’s a steady descent eastwards, before returning through the mature natural woodland in Brundholme Woods, across the River Greta and along the former railway line back to the hostel.
