Skills and confidence

An introduction to navigation and map reading in and around a fell near Ambleside. We’ll go for a lovely walk over the side of Loughrigg fell in the southern Lake District, and you’ll also learn skills to help you gain confidence and know-how so you can plan your own walks.

All welcome, but children and dogs must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Approx 200m of ascent and descent.

Spare maps and compasses will be available to borrow on the walk.
