Discovery and connection
Join the National Trust for their monthly ‘relaxed ramble’ through the beautiful countryside of the White Peak, to help you build confidence to walk independently, improve your health and fitness and support your mental wellbeing. We’ll walk along the Manifold valley, below the village of Thorpe, then back across the fields.
Suitable for all ages, adults and children alike. Wear comfy shoes and come prepared for the weather, so that might be sunhats or raincoats. The route may involve some slopes and gentle hilly sections.
It includes the cost of car parking, so please visit the Welcome Hut on arrival to pick up your parking pass.
Select the 'October' walk when booking.
This is in partnership with YHA's Festival of Walking - view other social walks.
