Accommodation at YHA Wells-next-the-Sea
Bed in a shared room
Dorms are not currently available.
Dorm rooms have multiple beds, are typically more affordable than private rooms, and shared with other people who may not be travelling together. A typical shared room includes bunk beds, a reading light and a storage cupboard for each guest, secured by a padlock if required.
Children aged between 12 and 15 can stay in dorm rooms as long as an adult of the same gender accompanies them.
Some dorms may be en-suites, meaning that they have a bathroom in the room that you would be sharing with the other people in your dorm.
Don't fancy sharing a room? Private rooms typically include a storage cupboard for each bed, secured by a padlock if required, a reading light and a wash hand basin. Shared shower and toilet facilities are located near to the room.
Hire the whole place
This hostel is occasionally made available for hire on an exclusive basis. This means that you can have the place to yourself and choose how many of your friends, family, club mates, etc., join you. Did you know there were four previous YHA Wells-next-the-Sea before the current YHA? Each four hostels lifespans were cut short due to the hostels failing. In 2002, YHA Wells-next-the-Sea opened its doors after a mass conversion, and it has stayed a consistently popular seaside youth hostel ever since.
Meet the team
Manager Mark recommends: So much to do, a weekend break may not be enough! Spend a day in Holkham, visit the Hall & Bygones Museum, stroll or cycle through the Deer Park via the Walled Gardens, Triumphal Arch and Ice House. Visit the local Boutiques at the North Gates entrance and relax in the Stables Café or Victoria Hotel before enjoying an evening by the seaside on the award winning Holkham Beach.
Make seal spotting extra special and take a boat trip around Blakeney Point. Ferries run from Morston Quay daily between 1 April and 31 October and it’s simply the best way to view England’s largest seal colony.
