Bedrooms

Two rooms that sleep up to 2 people each. They include a set of bunk beds.

Four rooms that sleep up to 4 people each. They include 2 sets of bunk beds.

Two rooms that sleep up to 6 people each. They include 3 sets of bunk beds.

A cot is available.

Kitchen and dining

The small kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: grill, microwave, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerator (plus an additional refrigerator in the next room), 2 toasters, washing machine.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, bin bags, cloths, paper towels, soap, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the dining room seats up to 22 people around tables. Seating for a further 10 people is available in the conservatory.

A highchair is available.

Lounge

The lounge area is located on the ground floor within the dining room. It seats up to 10 people. You can cosy up on the comfy sofas in front of the coal fire.

Bathrooms

Across the entire building there is a total of six bathrooms.

Showers: 7

Toilet paper is provided and hand soap is available next to all sinks.

Outdoors

Outside is a large garden. The garden is enclosed with a fence and has a gate.

Guests have full access to the garden.

Overview

YHA Dufton is a great base for outdoor activity breaks and exploring the wild moorland and green valleys which characterise the area. This accommodation in Cumbria is the perfect opportunity to stay in Europe’s first Geopark, an area of great geological interest.

This hostel faces the pretty village green near to the Pennine Way, and is perfectly placed to give easy access to Cross Fell and High Cup Nick. The area near YHA Dufton is great for walking and cycling holidays or just a relaxing weekend break in a quiet village.

Unlimited breakfast at YHA Dufton
