There are quiet, picturesque valleys, woodland and hills to discover right on the hostel doorstep. If you want to explore cliffs, Flamborough Head is 45 minutes away by car or you can get there in 35 minutes by train. Beverley Westwood is only half a mile away and offers 400 acres of idyllic countryside, complete with free-roaming cows. Go for a walk in the woods, enjoy a treat from the ice cream van, or indulge in a nostalgic day of kite flying.
Cycling
YHA Beverley is on a national by-way. Cycle routes 65 and 66 go right past the hostel door as well as the National Cycle Network 1. The North Sea Cycle Route also passes through Beverley. The hostel can provide free local cycle maps for you to discover the spectacular scenery en route. The Way of the Roses cycle route which goes from Morecambe to Bridlington also passes through Beverley.
