Starting and finishing at YHA The Sill at Hadrian’s Wall, this iconic walk follows in the footsteps of Roman soldiers. The route combines history, nature and film locations in one. The terrain along Hadrian’s Wall features footpaths and tracks, some short, sharp ascents, and may be muddy in places. A reasonable level of fitness would make the walk more enjoyable.
