Discovery and connection

A short and leisurely walk from YHA Manchester learning about the role of the canals in the city's history. We'll follow the Rochdale Canal through the city centre to Piccadilly and see how modern Manchester evolved thanks to these pioneering waterways. It's flat and easy walking along towpaths and paved surfaces with a few ramps and staps.
