Discovery and connection
An easy and scenic through route Lee Valley Country Park, whose peaceful waterways and tree-lined wetlands are home to an abundance of birdlife. Then it’s on to the historic market town of Waltham Abbey with the remains of its famous abbey dating from the Middle Ages. The walk starts and finishes at YHA London Lee Valley and is mostly level with a few steps, plus there are good public transport connections.
