We will take a short train ride to Cressington Station (the cost of the fare will be covered by Trek Therapy) and then follow the newly opened King Charles III England Coast Path back towards the city. There are great views across the Mersey towards the coastline of the Wirral. The walk finishes at Pier Head and Liverpool’s historic waterfront, with the Three Graces and Royal Albert Dock, followed by complimentary refreshments at the hostel.
This walk is open to everyone and is designed to promote social interaction, the physical and emotional wellbeing benefits of walking in the outdoors, and the therapeutic value of nature connection. The walk is graded easy, as the route follows well defined paths and is flat throughout, and will be at a comfortable pace allowing time for breaks and taking in the views.
Trek Therapy is a not-for-profit organisation that organises safe, enjoyable and welcoming outdoor walking activities designed to improve physical health and emotional wellbeing. Our activities are managed and supervised by professionally qualified outdoor leaders, accompanied by mental health practitioners.
