Please be aware that the castle will be closed to visitors from Monday 4th March to Friday 12th April to allow for essential maintenance work to take place inside the keep. From Saturday 13th April to Friday 3rd May the castle will remain closed on weekdays, but will be open every weekend, and on Good Friday and Easter Monday. The grounds will be open as normal during the entire period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Nearby Upnor Castle is open daily from 1st April.
