Skills and confidence
This circular walk on both countryside and coastal paths will be an opportunity to learn the basics of how to use Nordic Walking poles, as well as enjoying the social aspects of a group walk amongst stunning surroundings. The walk is open to all who can walk on a variety of surfaces across undulating terrain, with sections of easy to moderate ascent and descent. Equip yourself for a couple of hours walking with the appropriate footwear, waterproofs, layers (as required), refreshments and so on. Loan of Nordic Walking poles will be provided for the walk.
Steve Ellis is an experienced National Trainer with British Nordic Walking and a Nordic Walking Instructor with Gemini Outdoor, as well as an international Mountain Leader.
