Houghton Hall
Overview
The residence of Great Britain’s first Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole, with magnificent interiors and award-winning walled garden. There are a number of sculptures around the grounds including some of Henry Moore's.
The Soldier Museum is the largest private collection of model soldiers in the world. It was started by the 6th Marquess of Cholmondeley as a school boy, and he continued collecting throughout his life, often commissioning whole scenes to his specification.

Gates open from 11:00 to 17:00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from mid-April to the end of October (plus Saturdays during July and August)
