The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is within 10 minutes walk of the hostel. Walking in either direction offers some fantastic scenery - look out for seals and dolphins at certain times of the year.
Get out on your bike and explore some amazing hidden coves, or cycle across to Solva or even Newgale for a pub lunch and cool drink in the sun.
The South Face of St David's Head offers a short 50ft climb and includes routes ideal for first time leaders. Belay setup is plentiful.
The closest beach to YHA St David's is Whitesands, a short walk from the hostel which saves on parking fees.
With over 950km of footpaths, walking is an ideal way to appreciate the spectacular scenery, wildlife and history of the park. Visit the website
The main watersport in the area is surfing and you'll find some of the best swells just a short walk from the hostel.

A good section of the coastal path runs either side of the hostel with spectacular scenery. The Preseli Hills shadow the hostel, a great walk for the serious hiker. Dinas Head is a circula
