Set within some of the Peak District's most stunning countryside, Edale is ideal for walking, caving and climbing activities.
White Peak Walker
The many limestone dales of the Peak District provide less physically demanding, but no less interesting, terrain to explore in the company of a knowledgeable and experienced instructor. Many sites such as Cheedale & Lathkill Dale are local or national nature reserves, hinting at the wildlife and scenery to be discovered. The terrain underfoot is occasionally rocky or muddy but easy-going riverside meanders are a more likely scenario for relaxed exercise in a striking environment in the company of other like-minded participants.
£124 for the full weekend including full board accommodation.
A legendary itinerary covering Lose Hill, Back Tor, Mam Tor and the whole of the southern edge of the Kinder Scout plateau to complete a classic round trip. Two full days in the company of our knowledgeable and qualified instructors who will help to ensure success by navigating and pacing accordingly as well as easing the strain with local knowledge and minibus transport from/to the restart point – it will never be more accessible than this!
£114 for the weekend inclusive of full board accommodation.
A weekend of subterranean exploration, suitable for complete novices, discovering the unique underground world of Derbyshire’s famous caves and mines. In the company of qualified and knowledgeable instructors and with all specialist equipment provided, you only need moderate fitness and flexibility, and an adventurous streak to venture into the depths of this memorable environment.
£165 for two full days of cave/mine exploration and full board accommodation throughout.
For those with limited previous underground experience who want a taste of the vertical, this course offers smaller groups an opportunity to descend/ascend pitches within cave systems in order to access the more difficult, less frequented areas. Detailed instruction from qualified cavers plus all specialist equipment provided are the essential ingredients to further your underground aspirations.
