Targeted support and bursary funding

YHA is working to break down barriers and ensure access for all

Travel and adventure improve health, wellbeing and life skills through connections to nature, the outdoors, culture and heritage.

Everyone should have access to travel and adventure. But they don’t.

YHA offers targeted bursary and funding support to children, young people and families living with challenges in order to tackle the inequities that prevent participation, break down barriers, and ensure access for all.

Support programmes

Support for schools and colleges

Bursary funding and various support schemes are available to primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, schools offering alternative provision and colleges that are struggling to meet the costs of a residential trip.
