Situated in a former china claypit near St Austell, the Eden Project features a series of immense golf ball-shaped biomes which contain spectacularly exotic artificial Mediterranean, rainforest and other environments. It succeeds in making you think about sustainability, plus there’s rainforest walkways, a giant bee and the UK’s longest zipwire – not forgetting an on-site YHA hostel.
