Climbing in Bellingham
Callerhues crag is popular. It’s a very bold sort of crag - but one worth tackling! Routes tend to be hard, but short.
Converted from a stone barn, YHA Bellingham offers a high standard of accommodation. The hostel provides a fantastic base at the gateway to the Northumberland National Park, whilst The Pennine Way and cycle routes run right past.
You can also sample watersports on nearby Kielder Water, making this the ideal spot for an active getaway!

Manager recommends: Kielder Water and Forest is a must for any outdoor enthusiast. But a real gem is Hareshaw Linn waterfall where the natural fauna and flora will take your breath away.
