YHA has 12 Trustees and three Officers; a Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Treasurer.

Trustees and officers are YHA members, elected by representatives of YHA’s members through councils in the three English regions and in Wales for three year terms at the Annual General Meeting held every year in July.

Trustees appoint a Chief Executive who is responsible for carrying out policy on their behalf.

Your CV should highlight experience in areas such as:

• Education and qualifications
• Employment history
• Short summary of skills and experience likely to be of value to YHA
• General interests and activities.

Candidates should also supply a supporting statement of no more than 500 words explaining why they want to become a Trustee and explaining the experience they bring.
