Cycling in Leominster
Leominster is on the official CTC route from Land's End to John O’ Groats, set in a great position between Somerset and Cheshire. There's lots of cycling through the lovely black and white villages...
A former workhouse of a Benedictine Monastery dating back to the 11th Century, YHA Leominster is now a well-equipped hostel. Come and stay to embrace the history of the area. Leominster is situated in the Marches, the disputed borderlands between Wales and England, fought over for centuries.
We are at the heart of the Black and White Villages, whose style dates back to Tudor times. The walking and cycling in the area is excellent and there are several National Trust properties nearby, along with museums, visitor centres and beautiful gardens.
