Landpods in England and Wales

Enjoy the camping experience with some upgrades for added comfort in our Landpods. Our Landpods sleep up to 4 people on two small double mattresses. Both mattresses are raised and may require a slight jump or push to get up. The higher of the two beds has a handy storage area underneath it.

Staying in a Landpod is like camping with a few added extras: all bedding is included, plus duvets, LED lighting and a cosy seating area. These waterproof structures are slightly elevated off the ground with an insulated canopy roof you can open and raise up – perfect for getting closer to nature and keeping cool on warm summer evenings!

Landpods don't have heating, so are more suited to those who like a traditional camping experience. Even in the colder months, it’s nothing a couple of warm, cosy blankets can’t fix. There is a bench outside so you can relax in the evenings and most sites have a firepit too (wood packs are available to purchase at reception).

Our premium Landpods are exclusively available at YHA Windermere. They sleep up to 2 people each and also include a wood burner to keep you warm in the colder months. If you want to sit outside and watch the world go by, you can cosy up on the wooden companion seat with blankets and cushions. Forgot your picnic blanket? Don't worry, we've got you covered with an outdoor rug.
