Walking and rambling in Clun
If you're planning on staying at YHA Clun Mill, why not download a free map and get out exploring? All our self-guided walks start and end at a YHA hostel and are graded so that you can explore the...
This beautifully restored 18th century water mill in the Shropshire village of Clun retains much of its rustic, industrial charm. Exposed beams, stripped timber floors and an impressive array of milling machinery are still in place at YHA Clun Mill, giving this grade II listed hostel plenty of character.
This rural retreat is now a great base for visitors on walking and cycling holidays, looking to explore the unspoilt landscape, hill forts, castles and picturesque market towns nearby. Clun town centre is just a short walk away with its shops, pubs, cafés, antique shops and galleries.
Staying at YHA Clun Mill means being based in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – you can walk straight from the hostel front door onto The Shropshire Way. Clun Valley also has some of the best preserved sections of Offa’s Dyke Path.
