YHA (England and Wales) can only issue membership to people resident in the European Community (EC). If you live outside of the EC please click here for details of your home Association. Membership is valid for one year from the date of issue. The membership fees are valid until 28 February 2009.

Your YHA membership card is valid to the end of the month, 1 year from the date of issue, e.g. a card issued on 12 January 2008 expires at the end of January 2009.

YHA memberships are valid from the date of your application and cannot be advance dated or pre-dated.

Hostelling International Logo

Your YHA (England & Wales) membership card is valid INTERNATIONALLY.  This enables members to stay for a reduced price at over 200 places in England and Wales and use the network of 4,500 locations in 60 countries worldwide that display the Hostelling International sign.
