London Thameside - Travel Info
How do you get to this Youth Hostel:
Change onto the Overground line at Canada Water and travel one stop north to Rotherhithe. Turn left out of the station, the hostel is approx 500m away.
Alternatively you can exit Canada Water underground station. You will see hoardings advertising the building of a new library. To the left of this, is a gap between the building site and a block of flats which you can walk down. This brings you to the head of the canal (see map above). Turn left, keeping the canal on your right and follow the canal. When you reach the road, turn right, the hostel is approx 20m on your left. The walk from the station should take approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively you can catch a bus from the station. Please see the information below.
Bus information:
There are 2 buses which stop right outside the hostel. The 381 and the C10. If you are in central London the 381 will be heading towards Peckham and the C10 towards Canada Water. If you are at Canada Water the 381 will be heading towards Waterloo and the C10 towards Victoria Station. The 381 offers a night service called N381, please note this service does not stop at Canada Water. You need to alight either bus at the stop called Smith Close.
