About YHA Beer
This Arts and Crafts house with child-friendly facilities on the edge of Beer village is a great choice for cheap family holidays and school trips. For an activity break, try mackerel fishing and safe sea swimming at the nearby beach or for a real Jurassic coast holiday: fossil hunting. For walking holidays there's the nearby the South West Coastal Path.

Need to know
The driveway is steep and narrow with a hairpin turn half way up. Please note the parking directions on the car park notice board to allow access for emergency vehicles.
Towels are not supplied. They are available to hire from reception for £2 (+ £5 deposit) or please bring your own. Bedding is supplied.

Is the hostel open every day of the year?
- Families or school parties can go on a guided fossil tour and learn about the spectacular Jurassic coast, which has some stunning scenery for a walking holiday. Be sure to taste one of a selection of award winning locally produced ales or cider, or try them all!
