This rambling Victorian mansion with open fires is owned by the National Trust and stands in its own grounds between Elterwater and Grasmere. Close to the Langdale Pikes, it’s an ideal base for walkers wanting to explore the Langdale valleys. Facilities are excellent for families, individuals and groups alike.
