Towels are not supplied. They are available to hire from reception for £2 (+ £5 deposit) or please bring your own. Bedding is supplied.
The hostel is only accessible by foot. It is situated 0.75 miles from the car park down an unlit and unsurfaced track, so please bring a torch. Sole use and large groups may be able to bring one vehicle to the hostel to unload (by pre-arrangement – please contact the hostel). There are low ceilings throughout and the washrooms are outdoors.

If you're walking from Box Hill and Westhumble train station, we recommend you have a map for this route: turn left out of station and follow the road to Badgen Farm, take the track on the left indicated by a YHA sign. Pass the farmhouse on your right hand side and take the first right along a bridleway by the side of a barn. Walk straight across the field to the gate on the other side and turn left onto the track. The hostel is approx 400 metres up on the right hand side. By car: From the A24 in Dorking, take the A2003 Ashcombe Road and turn right at the T-junction towards Ranmore and Effingham. At the top of the hill is Denbies Hillside National Trust car park - the nearest car park to the hostel – free to National Trust members. From the car park cross over the road and turn left, walk along to Four Fox Cottages (on your right) and go through the gate by its side. Take the central track indicated by the YHA signs, the hostel is approx 15 minutes walk through the wood.
