About YHA Tanners Hatch
This picturesque self-catering cottage in National Trust woodland is a relaxing rural retreat for a countryside activity break. Set in the Surrey Hills, with a network of footpaths and bridleways on the doorstep, the hostel is ideal for walking and cycling holidays. Nearby is Polesden Lacey, a regency mansion with stunning Edwardian gardens and Denbies Wine Estate, England’s largest single estate vineyard. Children love to feed the animals at Bocketts Farm in Fetcham.

Hostel Closing Times:
Is the hostel open every day of the year?
- Enjoy the Tanners Hatch experience – chatting, singing or playing the guitar around the open fire with the owls hooting outside, and the hustle and bustle of daily life a long, long way away from this delightful rural retreat.
There are volunteering opportunities for group/corporate teams to work at the hostel – accommodation can be provided. We are also looking for local volunteer gardeners who can assist in the grounds.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
