YHA Oxford is brilliantly located beside Oxford train station, on Botley Road close to the River Thames, and is just a short stroll into the heart of the city. It is a purpose built hostel with 203 beds. The modern reception has a café bar offering refreshments after a long journey and is a great place to relax and meet fellow travellers, as well as catching up with e-mails or watching big sporting events on the TV. You can even take your drinks out into the back garden on a sunny day!
Facilities include a restaurant, a kitchen for those wishing to cook for themselves, laundry room, a peaceful library, lounge with pool table and luggage room to store bags before check-in or after check-out.
Cyclists are welcome with a good-sized locked cycle shed and plenty of space on the back patio to fine-tune their bike. YHA Oxford is ideal for backpackers, families, individuals and groups. This hostel offers FREE WIFI for our guests!
Towels are not supplied. They are available to hire from reception for £2 (+ £5 deposit) or please bring your own. Bedding is supplied.
There are no parking facilities at this hostel, although there are several city centre car parks nearby. Alternatively cheaper and less congested car parks are available outside of the centre with Park & Ride services (Seacourt is the closest to the hostel).
Sorry, pets are not permitted at YHA Oxford. However assistance dogs are welcome!

By train: YHA Oxford is as close to Oxford train station as you can possibly get! Simply hop off the train and we're literally a stone's throw away.
By car: follow the Oxford ring road towards the west of the city.
Take the A420 Botley turn off, then follow signs to train station/city centre.
YHA Oxford is located just before the railway bridge on your left.
Please note there is no parking on site, but staff can direct you to the city Park-and-Ride, 5 minutes away.

The city of Oxford has plenty of daytime activities for school trips and the hostel is well equipped to cater for groups in the evening. Home cooked meals are provided as well as classroom and lounge facilities with a games room.
