The hostel itself was great, and the staff there was very helpful too, but the dining part was a disaster... I had both a breakfast and a dinner here, and both times the food was bad and the staff was rude and grumpy. I wasn't the only one having this problem either. So... this is an amazing place to stay at, just as long as you don't pre-order the breakfast for 5 pounds. And I am definitely not one to be picky (I am a student who basically went for the cheapest options available)

A great introduction to youth hostelling for us all (aged from 13 to 46). Rooms and showers clean. Staff friendly and great value for money. Slightly noisy at night, but can't be blamed for the chiming of St Paul's clock every 15 minutes!!

I stayed in this hostel for 5 nights from 1st of March to 6th of March. Pros: + I slept in a 4 bed room + The best thing of this hostel is his location. There a lot of ways to get from A to B. Underground is 5 minutes to walk and there are a hand full of busses next to the hostel that go down to favorite places. + There are small rooms if you want to take a shower. They are clean as well. + Toilets get clened up every morning + WiFi is available (but didn't work as I was there) Cons: - Hand sinks are very bad. Its even hard to wash one hand. - If you buy a breakfast you get every single day the same things it's not worth to pay 5£. I recommend you to get some breakfast outside the hostel and further you don't need to pay the breakfast when you book the hostel. You can get the breakfast for the same price at the reception. - The badest thing of this hostel is that due the age of the building there is only ONE plug for recharging your devices. There is no option to get an multi socket plug so you've to share the one plug. - When you want to do your breakfast in my oppinion the service team there is rude. They should be a little bit more friendly. Overall if you can live with the cons you get a good hostel for a good price which has a very very good location in Zone 1 near to underground an busses.
