YHA London Central is the perfect place for backpackers to explore the capital. The Youth Hostel is modern, but affordable, and just five minutes from Oxford Street. It is ideal for those looking for culture, or simply shopping! The stylish café and bar really is the heart of the hostel and a real social environment, perfect for picking up a quick snack in between sight-seeing or relaxing with a beer and pizza deal while sharing stories, or planning your day out.
The knowledgeable staff are always happy to help, with a range of great deals on the popular attractions, or insider advice on many of London’s hidden gems. Modern self-catering facilities are also available at any time of day, complete with a quieter seating area away from the bustle of the main café/bar, for guests looking to cook for themselves.
If you’re looking for a place to stay where you feel safe and secure, this London backpackers’ hostel can deliver. With digital key card access required for not just the bedrooms but the corridors themselves, you will be able to get a good night’s sleep, ready to continue your adventures around the capital in the morning.

We have a regular intake of interns from universities abroad, usually studying tourism or something similar. We try to have at least one with us continually. We find that the ideal sort of time for them to stay is between three and four months. This allows us to train them to a sufficient level that they become a standard member of the team, and they are able to get the most out of it themselves. They receive food and board but no wage. We are generally interested in students at undergraduate level. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
