About Dolgoch Bunkhouse
Head to the wilds and this gas-lit farmhouse in the lovely Towy Valley. With excellent bird watching nearby, this bunkhouse accommodation is also a great base for cycling and walking holidays or a relaxing country break. YHA Dolgoch has recently undergone refurbishment including a solar-powered hot water system and self contained en suite accommodation. The hostel has no main electricity lighting is powered by a solar panel. Surprisingly the hostel does have a telephone. The only heating is a log burning stove.
Need to know
Dolgoch is self-catering only and the nearest shop is nine miles away, so please come prepared. Access is via a forestry track, but it is suitable for all types of vehicle, whatever the season. Advanced booking is essential mid November to March. This hostel has facilities for stabling horses.
