Description:
Cheddar Gorge is an adventure playground for all and this hostel is in the thick of the action. The modernised Victorian house sits in the village below the dramatic gorge that has the highest limestone cliffs in England. There’s an exciting underground world to discover in Cheddar’s incredible caves and Wookey Hole, just six miles away. The Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels will keep walkers busy while families will want to travel the 12 miles to the traditional seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare.

The hostel is a modernised Victorian house situated in the village of Cheddar.
My sister and i stayed for the night on the 5/11/2009 and had a great time. The YHA was easy to find with parking and we had a nice welcome - the chap who was looking after everything was really nice...

Lovely YHA; nice welcome, clean room and public areas, well equipped kitchen, very nice vegi and 'normal' breakfast, comfy lounge. Hope to go back.
